Every Attacker Gets a Name

Tag the Attacker

Once the hacker is detected inspecting the code, the Mykonos Security Appliance tags the attacker with an encrypted security .token. to enable re-identification and profiling. This persistent tag remains after the session ends and identifies the person, not just the IP address.

Improve Security

Web application attacks have a development lifecycle and take time to successfully create. Tagging the attacker during the earliest part of the attack, when they are inspecting your site for vulnerabilities, allows you to prevent the attacker before they have successfully created the attack vector. Ultimately the tag allows you to build a profile of the attacker and neutralize the threat.
