Profile the Attacker
Once the attacker is detected and tagged, a profile of the person.s skills is created. Every detection point they activate when inspecting the code is captured and is added to the profile of the attacker indicating the skill level and the threat they pose to your organization.
An intelligence gathering process called Hacker Hoops and Hurdles further evaluates the skills of the attacker. This process responds intelligently to requests for files requested by the hacker. But rather than serving up the correct files, it serves up fake files that waste the attacker.s time exploring futile attack possibilities.
Know Your Attacker
The profile provides IT security professionals with more valuable knowledge about attackers and the threat they pose than they have ever seen before. No longer is it about IP addresses, packets of data and log files. Every detected attacker gets a profile and every profile gets a name, so you can easily identify them.
Evaluate Skill Level of Attacker
Detecting the threat is not enough. Evaluating their skills and the techniques used is key to assessing the danger they pose.
Assess the Threat they Pose
Easily understand the severity of the incident by defining the complexity of the attack to show you how dangerous it is to your company.
Track Them Over Time
Every incident is attached to the attackers profile and the tracking persists over sessions and over time.
