David Koretz, Chairman and CEO
David Koretz is the Chairman and CEO of Mykonos Software, the leader in
deception-based cyber-security. Under Mr. Koretz’s leadership, Mykonos
was named a 2010 Gartner Cool Vendor, winner of the Secure Computing
Magazine Innovator’s Throwdown, and the 2011 SINET 16. From age 14,
he has founded six technology companies including BlueTie and Adventive
and still serves on the board of directors of both companies.
Mr. Koretz also serves on the board of directors of Earthlink, the Dean’s Council for the RIT School of Computing, and the board of trustees of the Rochester Institute of Technology. Mr. Koretz received a Small Business Management certificate from RIT at age 17, and has completed executive education at Harvard University and Stanford University.
Mr. Koretz is a monthly columnist for MediaPost Magazine, the inventor of a dozen US technology and cybersecurity patents, and a frequent speaker on technology.
Victor Pinenkov, VP Engineering
Victor Pinenkov is responsible for managing all Mykonos application development engineering staff. Mr. Pinenkov has worked in various senior positions at BlueTie since 1999, where he acquired deep technology and architecture experience delivering complex, multi-tenant, real-time collaboration web applications as a service to over 4 million users. Prior to joining BlueTie, Mr. Pinenkov held senior positions at Digital Corp and Rochester-based ICIS. He has a Master of Science degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
Adam Hoydysh, Director of Sales
Adam Hoydysh is responsible for direct and channel sales. He brings 10 years of sales, marketing and management experience from Paychex Inc., a leading provider of payroll and human resource services where he served as Director of Strategic Sales Initiatives. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from University of Colorado at Boulder.
Kyle Adams, Chief Software Architect
As architect and lead developer for Mykonos, Kyle Adams has final
responsibility for code quality and technical excellence. Mr. Adams is
a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology, with a
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science with a minor in Criminal Justice. He
wrote his first password protection software at age 10, started hacking
incessantly, and was writing his own encryption software by age 14. An
AJAX expert and enthusiast, Mr. Adams has worked on scores of web
application projects as a freelancer and entrepreneur. At BlueTie, Mr.
Adams re-wrote the application framework that drives their SaaS based
email and collaboration platform. That framework was the beginning of
Mykonos.
Edward Roberts, Director of Marketing
As Director of Marketing, Edward Roberts is responsible for marketing
communications, promotions, lead generation and sales enablement. Edward
has 20 years experience marketing products to enterprise clients for
companies, including WorkforceLogic, InsideTrack, Nelson Family of
Companies, Randstad, Harris Interactive and Adecco. He has a BA from
Middlesex University, London.
